When Cassie came to me with this idea for a shoot, I was SO excited!! Throwing paint, making a rainbow mess, and watching all their faces light up were all the wonderful things I had expected to see happen! What none of had considered is that it would be snowing on our planned day in the middle of October… I was super bummed. But we went for it anyway, and you know what… the weather, this family, and the images I was able to capture taught me something that day – it’s all in how you look at it. I thought the snow was going to ruin our sweet fall day shoot, but you guys… it made it gave it an extra magical touch I could’ve never planned for. It turned out to be a gift, much like this ridiculously adorable family, and I’m feeling so grateful I got to be a part of it.
Happy 2nd Birthday, Artemis Kay! You are the very apparent ray of sunshine in your moms’ lives, but I hope you know how very lucky you are to have them too.
